The head of the department is responsible for managing the development of the IT industry and the regular work of the lecturer:

IT/CS professional development manager in HCMC:

• Research and understand the training content at Swinburne;
• Organize training instructor coordination
• Focal point meeting with Australian partners on training quality
• Be a good role model and do a good job as a lecturer

Lecturer job:

• Training and assessing students according to Swinburne standards
• Research through practical projects or scientific publications
• Organize international, business and community experience activities for students
• Participate in seminars, school introductions, and scholarship interviews for students
• Participate in professional development training according to Swinburne's plan
• Meet students' academic needs, provide support if students need advice, tutoring and additional counseling during their studies
